Prime Minister charged Samruk-Kazyna to work over anti-recessionary programs for Astana and Almaty
Astana. January 14. Kazakhstan Today - The main part of the anti-recessionary program will be concentrated on two cities - Astana and Almaty. In this connection, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, during the government session on Monday assigned the chairman of Samruk-Kazyna Fund to work over the special programs for these two cities, the agency reports.
"Prior to the beginning of February, we will discuss the reports of the stabilization programs of all the regions," the Prime Minister said.
"Your fund along with akims of Almaty and Astana will in the nearest two weeks coordinate the anti-recessionary programs with the activity of the fund," K. Masimov said.
"The work should be done in the financial sector, small and average scale businesses, and the real estate market," the Prime Minister specified. He emphasized that the work should be completed by the government session on January, 27th 2009.
