Caspian pipeline consortium decreased export of oil by 3.5 % in 2008
Moscow. January 15. Kazakhstan Today - Caspian pipeline consortium (CPC) in 2008 decreased its export of oil from the terminal Yuzhnaya Ozereika -2 by 3.5 % in comparison with 2007, the agency reports citing the consortium message.
According to the company, 31.470 million tons of oil in 2008 as compared to 32.612 million tons in 2007 was shipped for export to Novorossiysk port through CPC system.
As informed earlier, 2 million 976 thousand tons of oil was shipped in December through the sea terminal of the consortium. 2 million 670 thousand tons of oil was shipped in December, 2007.
More than 175 million tons of oil has been shipped through the consortium sea terminal since the beginning of operation of the pipeline, October, 2001.
