Extraction of natural gas increased in January - December, 2008 by 13 %
Astana. January 19. Kazakhstan Today - Extraction of natural gas increased by 12.9 % and reached 33 382.5 million cubic meters in January - December, 2008 in Kazakhstan in comparison with the similar period of 2007, Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan informed.
According to Statistics Agency, 18 708.1 million cubic meters of natural gas in gaseous state (growth totaled 12.2 %), 11 273.4 million cubic meters of natural gas in gaseous state (commodity production), (growth was 15.1 %) and 14 674.4 million cubic meters of oil passing gas, (growth - 13.9 %) have been extracted for the accounting period.
