Kazakhstan Today - Buzachi Operating Ltd., developing oilfields in the Northern Buzachi in Tupkaragan region of Mangistau oblast, following the results of 2008 has extracted 1 million 710.214 thousand tons of oil that is more by 6.2 % than during the similar period in 2007, the Regional Department of Business and Industry informed the agency. According to the department, for January - December, 2007 the company extracted 1 million 610.133 thousand tons of oil. Following the results of December, 2008, oil extraction totaled 150 628 tons as compared to 157 974 tons in December, 2007.
