KazMunayGas, Gazprom to increase prices for transit of gas through Kazakhstan
Astana. January 22. Kazakhstan Today - JSC National Company KazMunayGas (NC KMG) and Gazprom agreed to raise prices for the transit of gas through the territory of Kazakhstan from $ 1.4 to $ 1.7 per 1 thousand cubic meters per 100 kilometers. The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan, Sauat Mynbayev, said at the session of the Energy Ministry, the agency reports.
"On December 31, KazMunayGas managed to sign with Gazprom the protocol on gas supplies to the domestic market of the Republic in 2009 of 4.6 billion cubic meters and on increase of the transit fare from $ 1.4 to $ 1.7 per thousand cubic meters per 100 kilometers through the main pipelines," S. Mynbayev said.
