Astana. January 29. Kazakhstan Today - JSC Company Exploration Production KazMunaiGas in 2008 increased oil extraction by 12.4 %, the agency reports citing the press service of the company. "Exploration Production KazMunaiGas, taking into account the shares of the companies Kazgermunai and CCEL, in 2008 extracted 11 954 thousand tons of oil (239.8 thousand barrels a day) that is by 1315 thousand tons, or by 12.4 % more than in 2007. The increase of volume has occurred taking into account oil extracted by the companies, the shares of which have been purchased by Exploration Production of KazMunaiGas in 2007," the press release informs.
