Inflation in Kazakhstan to be 11%
Astana. February 6. Kazakhstan Today - The chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Grigory Marchenko, at the expanded meeting of the faction of the People's Democratic Party Nur Otan in Parliament said inflation in Kazakhstan in 2009 will be 11%, the agency reports.
"We expect that this year inflation will be within 11%," G. Marchenko said.
He also said that this year inflation is expected to grow faster in February. "But since then the situation will stabilize due to reduction of negative expectations in the market," the chairman of the National Bank informed.
