There is no tendency of outflow of money from banks
Astana. February 6. Kazakhstan Today - The chairman of the National Bank of the Republic at the expanded session of faction of the People's Democratic Party Nur Otan in Parliament, Grigory Marchenko, said there is no tendency in the Republic of outflow of money from the banks, the agency reports.
"There were no tendencies of outflow of money from the banks. There was a tendency of remittance from tenge deposits into foreign currency as there were very strong devaluation expectations," G. Marchenko said.
He explained that "all saw what was occurring in the neighboring countries." "In Russia devaluation within 13 months has made more than 48 %, in Ukraine - 52 %, in the Great Britain - 38 %... Remittances from tenge deposits into foreign currency occurred on the background of devaluation processes in these countries," he said.
