ASTANA. February 10. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ «Total acres of spring sowing will amount to 17.8 mln ha in 2009. 13.3 mln ha of it will be allocated for grain wheat», Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev has said today at the session of the Kazakh Government, Kazinform reports. According to him, acreages of top croppers will be extended. «Planned acreages will allow to meet the requirements of the domestic market in main types of agricultural products and have export potential on cereal crops», the Minister said. According to A.Kurishbayev, 336 thousand tons of diesel oil will be necessary for carrying out of spring agricultural works. The Minister informed that in accordance with scientist’s data, weather conditions this year will be more propitious then the last year and it allows to expect rich harvest.
