Kazakhstan reduced oil and gas condensate export in 2008
ASTANA. February 17. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan reduced oil export in 2008, the Kazakh Statistics Agency said.
«In 2008 Kazakhstan exported 60,708,700 tons of oil and gas condensate, which is 0.1 percent less compared to 2007,» the Kazakh Statistics Agency said.
In 2008 nearly 58,713,800 of crude oil and 12,024,100 tons of gas condensate were generated in Kazakhstan.
Money equivalent of export of oil and condensate during the reported period totaled $43507.9 million, which is 54.7 percent more compared to 2007. Kazakhstan exported 3,727,900 tons of oil products during this period which made up 90.3 percent compared to 2007. At the same time import of oil products totaled 2,199,800 tons which made up 107.6 percent compared to 2007. Import of natural gas to Kazakhstan during this period totaled 6685.1 million cubic meters which made up 93.1 percent compared to 2007. Export of natural gas in equaled 17370.7 million cubic meters or 114.1 percent compared to 2007, the release says, Kazinform refers to Trend News.
