AKTOBE. February 18. KAZINFORM /Samal Yendibayeva/ Management of «Batys» SEC plans to mine mortar sand and loam for road construction; Kazinform reports. As the Information and Analytical Department of the SEC informs, the corporation signed a contract with the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control of Aktobe oblast on holding joint exploration and production of mortar sand in «Aktobe» minefield. Contracts with the Energy and Community Facilities Department of West Kazakhstan oblast on holding exploration and production of loam at «Petrovsky» and «Rozhkovsky» lots were signed. «Batys» SEC under the contracts plans to mine mortar sand and loam for roads construction. It is planned to attract the Kazakh company as a strategic partner and investor. The investor will be responsible for ensuring project’s financing, attraction of advanced technologies and sale of finished products. Deputy CEO of the SEC Amangeldy Taspikhov noted that a mandatory condition of the contracts is compliance with all technical, ecological and environmental requirements of the country’s legislation by the investor. Besides, new jobs will be created. Funds for development of the social sphere and infrastructure of districts, personnel training are foreseen.
