KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ «It is necessary to sign agreements with oil-refining companies on acceptable for Kazakhstan key business principles of realization of the Trans Caspian project», Kazakh Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev said at the Governmental Hour in the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament), Kazinform reports. Besides, the Minister noted that it is necessary to adopt the Resolution of the Government on mineral extraction tax reduction for oil companies. «Today, when the oil price is less then USD 40 per barrel it is obvious that the mineral extraction tax rate should be reduced. The position of oil workers worsened and needs support, in particular, through the mineral extraction tax reduction», S.Mynbayev said.
