ASTANA. February 24. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ KZT 476 bln were allocated for the country’s banking sphere stabilization. Head of the National Welfare Fund «SamrukKazyna» Kairat Kelimbetov has announced it at the Government’s session, making a report on the course of implementation of Joint Actions Plan on economic stabilization; Kazinform reports. He reminded that «SamrukKazyna» transferred KZT 120 bln to the deposits of «Kazkommertsbank» and «Halyk Bank» each. One part of the funds will be converted to the tier I capital, the second one will be directed to the real sector projects financing. On February 2 the Fund allocated KZT 212 bln on purchase of 75 percent of common stocks of «BTA Bank». KZT 24 bln were transferred to the deposits of «Alliance bank» for the support of the current liquidity and the real sector projects financing. «Besides, we agreed to transfer part of the current operations of national companies, which enter the structure of «SamrukKazyna» Fund, on service in «BTA Bank» and «Alliance Bank», K.Kelimbetov said. «Finally, KZT 476 bln out of KZT 484 bln foreseen for the banking sector stabilization, are distributed. These measures should positively influence stability of banks and the financial system», K.Kelimbetov stressed
