KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ By the end of the week «SamrukKazyna» National Welfare Fund will submit to the Government a Program on increasing Kazakhstan’s participation in the Fund’s purchases. Kairat Kelimbetov, the Chairman of the Fund, has said it at the Cabinet’s telephone conference today, Kazinform reports. According to him, the program covers primarily 4 sectors: subsoil use, railway, telecommunications and electric power sectors. «At present subsidiary companies of the Fund are re-considering their annual budgets and investment programs», K. Kelimbetov informed and added that priority must be given to those projects providing for establishment of working places and productions. «Each company should form a register of domestic producers and have maps of distribution of orders», the Head of «SamrukKazyna» said. As earlier reported, «SamrukKazyna’s» joint plans on purchases for 2009 comprise KZT 1.4 trln. Six companies plan to spend KZT 700 bln for buying domestic goods and services. «Kazatomprom» JSC entering the structure of the Fund plans to increase Kazakhstan’s share in state purchases by 21% that is KZT 76 bln. «Kazakhtelecom» NC JSC expects to acquire goods and services from the domestic suppliers to the amount of KZT 39 bln out of KZT 77 bln. «Electric power energy companies plan to make purchases to the amount of KZT 97 bln. In 2008 the share of Kazakhstan’s participation made 80%. This year this figure will be increased up to 84%. In particular, KEGOC plans to spend KZT 34 bln for this aim», K. Kelimbetov said at the conference.
