ASTANA. March 4. KAZINFORM Today «Samruk Kazyna» National Welfare Fund and «Nur Otan» National Democratic Party have held a session on the issues of organizing cooperation in purchasing by fund’s member organizations, Kazinform refers to the press release of the Fund and the Party. Memo on cooperation between the Fund and the Party was signed during the session. The main purpose of the memo is provision of transparency and publicity of held procedures, avoidance of corruption and control over increase of the Kazakh participation. The memo provides obligatory inclusion of representatives of non-governmental organizations to the tender board as members of the board on purchasing. The participation of the reps of NGOs in purchasing will provide transparency of the procurement; avoidance of undue restrictions on the rights of potential suppliers. As secretary of «Nur Otan» Party Sergey Gromov noted, the Party intends to attract to the work of the tender boards not only members of the Party, but also members of other political and public associations. Besides, the reps of the Fund expressed intention to cooperate with the community in preventing violations in procuement.
