ASTANA. March 10. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is interested in cooperation with Kazakhstan, Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, the President of the IDB announced at a briefing following the meeting with President Nursultan Nazarbayev; Kazinform reports. “During the work in Kazakhstan the bank has paticipated in a series of important projects and we hope that we will keep strengthening our relationship and mutual cooperation”, Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali said. He noted that Kazakh party was interested in strengthening the role and system of Islamic financing in the republic. In reply Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali expressed consent. “I congratulated Mr. President on perfect organization of the Forum and his authority - a lot of experts of international fame accepted the invitation to participate in the forum”, the head of the Bank said. He expressed confidence that the Forum will make Astana one of the world places to hold such events.
