ASTANA. March 11. KAZINFORM /Zhiger Baitelessov/ Amendments to the Environmental Code are prepared for the second reading in the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament). The bill of governmental amendments, introduced in October, 2008 was approved by the Deputies in January, 2009 in the first reading and supplemented by new amendments of the parent and relevant committees of the Majilis. Wording of the Committee on issues of ecology and environmental management was included to the comparative table. In accordance with it, dangerous machinery and equipment are mechanisms, machinery, facilities, instruments, used in the business and other activities and presenting a hazard to the environment. The table includes 21 amendments to the Environmental Code, adjusted by the head of the committees for House's consideration .
