Kazakh Government establishes Antirecessionary Council
ASTANA. March 12. KAZINFORM As earlier reported, a range of issues was discussed at the telephone conference of the Kazakh Government held on March 10. In particular, it was decided to set up an antirecessionary council.
The Government adopted the resolution «On establishment of the Antirecessionary Council», initiated by the forum of entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
The Antirecessionary Council will be consultative-advisory body under the Kazakh Government. The Council will be headed by the Kazakh Prime Minister. The Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Trade will be the working body of the Council and provide organizational and technical work.
A prerequisite for establishing of the Council was the situation on the world financial markets that influenced the real sector of the Kazakh economy.
The Council will become a platform for integration of efforts of governmental and non-governmental organizations, business communities, based on permanent and close collaboration. Taken decisions will take into account the interests of all participants.
As earlier reported, the Head of the Government charged the mayors and governors to create a similar crisis councils in the regions under their chairmanship .
