Kazakhstan Employment Strategy to create 35 000 road construction jobs
ASTANA. March 20. KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ 35 construction and road repair jobs will be created within the National Employment Strategy, Kazakh Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazy Kussainov announced at the sitting of the Ministry’s board in Astana today.
“Kazakhstan’s transportation sector has several goals. The first is to ensure efficient utilization of KZT 50 billion budgeted within the “road map” for construction and repairing of highways. Regional akimats and transportation departments must ensure quality and transparency of budget funds distribution and create as many jobs as possible”, A. Kussainov said.
Among the other tasks A. Kussainov pointed out the implementation of infrastructure projects, increase of Kazakhstan’s content in purchase of goods and services, optimization of non-priority investment expenditures and budget savings.
