"International Enterprise Singapore" IE Singapore and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development have signed a memorandum of understanding to help Singapore-based companies find and implement economic and investment projects in Central Asia and Eastern Europe; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA’s press service.IE Singapore placed USD 420,000 on Technical Cooperation Fund of EBRD for the consulting work in Kazakhstan in the field of transport infrastructure development in Kazakhstan, in particular, in Almaty. Participation of Singapore-based companies in infrastructure projects will allow to apply advanced technologies in further development of urban transport in Kazakhstan. According to Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the IE Singapore Mr Chua Taik Him, who signed the MoU, the document is very timely in helping business circles and investors of Singapore understand business opportunities of potential markets in Central Asia and Eastern Europe and get access there.
