According to preliminary data, the GDP fell by 3.2% in January this year, the industrial production – by 3.2%, the volume of construction work – by 11.5%. “Unemployment was 6.9% in January and 7.1% in February”, K.Massimov said. “The Government is working at antirecessionary program now. Our actions are aimed at reducing barriers. Primarily, it is necessary to resolve the banking system. 480 billion tenge had been allocated to four main banks", the Head of the Government noted. “The next measure is protection of rights of interest-holders. It is necessary to support the construction. For this, the banks are obliged to grant loans to the interest-holders ”, the Premier said.
