ALMATY. April 9. KAZINFORM. /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has visited Holiday Inn Almaty, the first international middle class hotel in Almaty and the first Holiday Inn in Kazakhstan. Holiday Inn is a club of hotels of the biggest hotel network in the world – IHG. Construction of the hotel in Almaty started in 2006 and on January 21, 2009 it was opened. Analogous hotels are planned to be built in two other cities of Kazakhstan. The President also surveyed Keremet residential estate. Its interest holders received apartments due to the Government’s support. Total ground area is about 7 hectares.
