ALMATY. April 9. KAZINFORM /Dauren Zhailin/ The employment sphere is under special control of Almaty administration, Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov stated at the sitting on strategic urban development of Almaty city; Kazinform reports. As per the President’s commissions on economic stabilization the administration of the city has designed and adopted an anti-crisis program, said Akhmetzhan Yessimov. “The implementation of the anti-crisis program will ensure participation of the city enterprises in the state purchases, and create about 19,000 jobs. The result in terms of taxes will be KZT 15 bln”, he said. A.Yessimov emphasized the relevance of the new employment strategy - "road map" - set forth by the President. “KZT 140 bln have been allocated from the national budget for its execution, more than KZT 13 bln plus KZT 9 bln from the local budget being envisaged for Almaty. These funds will be budgeted into reconstruction of roads, homes, utilities. This will create 20,000 jobs. IOn the whole the implementation of the “road map” and anti-recessionary program will create 39,000 jobs”, the Mayor said. N.Nazarbayev supported the measures taken by the Almaty administration to stabilize the employment, and urged to continue this work, which is under his permanent control.
