BRUSSELS. April 13. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ Kazakh Ambassador to France Murat Tashibayev took part in presentation of a joint Kazakh-French iron and steel enterprise “UKAD” last week, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Embassy in Paris. The enterprise was established in accordance with the Agreement, signed in June, 2008 between Kazakh and French companies. According to the experts, the products of the enterprise will successfully compete with Russian and American companies. Development of the production of titanium alloys will allow to use the products in the oil-and-gas and nuclear industry. The production is planned to be launched in 2011. The project supposes direct investment to the amount of EUR 47 mln and guaranteed offers of “Airbus” French company to the amount of EUR 1 bln for the period till 2020.
