Kazakh Government increases agrarian science financing twofold - President of KazAgroInnovation JSC
ASTANA. April 16. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Government has increased agrarian science financing twofold and investments amounting to over USD 40 mln will be allocated to the development of the agrarian science till the end of 2009. KazAgroInnovation JSC President Bayan Alimgazinova has announced it at the XII international scientific conference “Agrarian science – to agricultural production of Kazakhstan, Siberia and Mongolia”; Kazinform refers to the Company’s press service.
B.Alimgazinova noted that at present the work on modernization of the agrarian science is underway. “Within the framework of the innovation policy of the agrarian sector we proceed to the measures on creation of infrastructure on spreading and realization of scientific achievements through the establishment of Centers of knowledge in the field of agribusiness”, she said.
B.Alimgazinova emphasized that strengthening of integration with leading foreign scientific centers, academies of agricultural sciences of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, EU countries and with other countries is one of the main priorities in the activity of KazAgroInnovation JSC. “The conference gives an opportunity of an open discussion of scientific and technological problems in the agrarian sector. We expect new proposals from scientists on the development of scientific-technical cooperation in the agrarian sector at both bilateral and multilateral levels”, B.Alimgazinova said.
