ASTANA. April 23. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov has delivered a report at the conference with participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana today.I.Tasmagambetov noted that the Astana recovery plan was outlined in line with the structure of the gross regional product in which 60% fall on small and medium business and 23% fall on the construction sector. Accordingly, we have taken measures to arrange lending for entrepreneurs, support the construction sector and ensure population employment. As per the Action Plan of the Government, Astana akimat has received funds from the republican budget to the amount of KZT 5,4 bln provided that 3,000 jobs will be created. KZT 2,6 bln of these funds will be forwarded to reconstruction and repair of the housing utilities, KZT 1,4 bln will be budgeted into repair and construction of roads, KZT 1,5 bln will be spent for the repair and heating of schools, hospitals and other social facilities. There were 128 housing facilities with 24,104 co-investors involved in January, 2009 in Astana. It is planned to accomplish construction of 104 residential estates of 17, 176 co-investors till the end of the year. The rest 24 dwelling complexes will completed in 2010.
