Stuttgart hosted Day of Kazakhstan Economy

MAGDEBURG. April 23. KAZINFORM /Yuliya Chernova/ A Day of Kazakhstan Economy took place in Stuttgart as part of the Year of Kazakhstan in Germany. The event was organized by the Kazakhstan Embassy in this country, Stuttgart administration and the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Baden-Wurttemberg. As the press service of the Embassy informs, Kazakhstan’s delegation consisted of the representatives of Mangystau Investment community, Tsesnabank, Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning with Chairman of Atameken Union National Economic Chamber Azat Peruashev in the head. The event aimed at presentation of Kazakhstan’s investment potential and different economic projects attractive for German businessmen, and explication of the main provisions of the President’s Address to the Nation “Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity”. Kazakh Ambassador to the FRG Nurlan Onzhanov told the German entrepreneurs about the development of Kazakhstani-Germany relations and the economic events scheduled for the current year. Delivering his speech Mayor of Stuttgart Wolfgang Schuster positively estimated modern development of Kazakhstan and the immense opportunities for cooperation between German and Kazakh businessmen, and also informed of his intention to visit Kazakhstan in 2010 with an economic delegation. A. Peruashev briefed about the Kazakh Government’s anti-crisis measures to support small and medium businesses and banks, various social programs, and called the German side to invest into Kazakhstan's economy, set up joint enterprises and reach mutual benefit. Following the event, the participants held bilateral meetings and discussed possible ways of cooperation.
