Senate ratified Agreement between Russian, Kazakh, and Turkmen Governments on coop in construction of Trans-Caspian gas pipeline
ASTANA. April 27. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Senate adopted the Law УOn ratification of the Agreement between the Kazakh Government, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Turkmenistan on cooperation in construction of the Trans-Caspian gas pipelineФ. The Agreement was signed on December 20, 2007 in Moscow. Its main purpose is the development of long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation in the gas sector of the countries, aimed at the transportation of growing volumes of natural gas through the territories of participating countries by taking joint obligations on creation of favorable conditions for authorized organizations and contractors, participating in the construction of the pipeline.
