ASTANA. May 6. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ Regular session of “Orleu” economic club under “Nur Otan” National Democratic Party was held Tuesday in Astana. Issues on increasing the effectiveness of the antirecessionary measures of the Kazakh Government, including the diversification of the economy and possible ways of solution of this problem were discussed at the session. As Chairman of “Samruk Kazyna” National Welfare Fund Kairat Kelimbetov noted, the basic agenda for Kazakhstan today is diversification of the economy. “When the country doesn’t depend on the incomes and prices for oil and metals, the structure of the economy itself will not depend on large enterprises”, “All counties are overcoming the crisis now. But all starts thinking about what will happen after the crisis. Probably, we haven’t prepared everything for diversification. The diversification is not only investment projects, but general change of the state policy in different fields: education, infrastructures, preparation of the human capital”, the Head of the Fund stressed.
