ASTANA. May 6. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ “Large auto concerns “Nissan” and “Renault” proposed to establish in Kazakhstan new line of secure and inexpensive cars”, Kazakh Minister of Industry and Trade Vladimir Shkolnik has said today at the workshop in Astana.
“Nissan” and “Renault” companies proposed to establish a line of secure and inexpensive cars. It would be secure economy cars with engine displacement of 0.8-1.2 liters, satisfying all highest ecological requirements of Euro-4 standard”, V.Shkolnik said.
According to him, we should close our market for imported cars. In order to develop any production we need to protect our market from import from the third countries.
“We do it in order to develop our industry, create working places”, V.Shkolnik noted.
