PM chairs session of Supreme Scientific Technical Commission
ASTANA. May 8. KAZINFORM Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has chaired a regular session of the Supreme Scientific and Technical Commission under the Kazakh Government in the Ukimet Uiy today; Kazinform refers to the Premier’s press service.
Members of government agencies, International Expert Council and scientific organizations took part in the session to discuss the problems of Kazakhstan’s innovative development, namely the progress of innovation projects implementation and scientific-technical programs for 2010-2012.
“Economic diversification is today's one of the main tasks of the Government set by the President. It demands elaboration and introduction of innovation scientific developments”, K.Massimov said.
The Commission members received reports and discussed innovation projects and new scientific-technical programs worked out by scientific organizations.
The Prime Minister charged the associated public agencies to complete these proposals in order to include them into the budget programs and for their approval by the National Budget Commission.
