Kazakhstan proposed to introduce stage by stage rise in domestic gas prices by 2015 in accordance with the formula: European price minus transport expenditures minus 25%. As Minister Sauat Mynbayev says, there will be market prices for gas in future since it is connected with import deliveries and gas deficit. Alongside, the Head of the Ministry proposed to align domestic gas prices with the European ones by 2020. He noted Russia plans to introduce new prices from 2011.
