KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ “Over 250 thousand jobs will be created due to the Kazakhstan employment strategy”, Kazakh Minister of Labor and Social Protection Gulshara Abdykalikova has said at the meeting of Kazakh Prime Minister with akims of the regions and the cities of Astana and Almaty today.“Legislative framework of the strategy is formed. The list of projects is defined. In whole there are more than 4,700 projects with the budget of KZT 163.3 billion. Through their realization it is planned to create 254 thousand jobs”, the Minister said. KZT 58.4 billion will be budgeted in the projects on repair, reconstruction and development of housing and utilities infrastructure; KZT 49 billion – in repair of schools, hospitals and other social facilities; KZT 49.9 billion – in road works; KZT 6 billion – in repair of municipal and rural social and cultural facilities. “To date, in accordance with the financing schedule for May 2009, KZT 14.2 billion has already been allocated to the regional, Astana and Almaty akimats”, she added.
