ALMATY. May 18. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ About 80 Indian companies, including the largest transnational corporations and enterprises of small and medium business, will represent their production, projects, innovations, services, experience and technologies at an exhibition “India Expo-2009”, which will be hel in Almaty on May 21. The ambitious Indian exhibition will be held in Kazakhstan for the first time, it gives an opportunity to show further potential of bilateral cooperation development. Indian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Ashok Sajjanhar has announced it at a special press conference; Kazinform reports. According to him, Kazakhstan is a long-time and strategic partner of India. A recent visit of President N.Nazarbayev to India became a good stimulus for cooperation development. “Today, in spite of the trade turnover’s increase by 88 percent (it formed USD 368 mln), the states have opportunities for further trade strengthening”, the diplomat noted.
