KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakh Economy and Budget Planning Minister Bakhyt Sultanov has made a report on the progress of development of the map of rational location of production facilities at the Government’s sitting today. “On the basis of proposals of state bodies and holdings we have selected and formed a portfolio of 382 investment projects with the budget of KZT 8.5 trillion. A preliminary analysis of the projects was held. The Ministry created the information system “Kazakhstan Investment Map” and determined a mechanism of assessment of resource and infrastructure endowment of the projects in order to balance regional and sectorial plans”, he said. Preliminary testing of the mechanism on the definite projects and regions allowed to learn what projects need electricity supply, water supply and transport infrastructure for their realization.
