ASTANA. May 20. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The state does not reject market principles but alongside we should not hope that market will solve all our problems, Prime Minister Karim Massimov said during the Congress of Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs held in Astana today.
“Those tasks given by the President at the XII Extraordinary Congress of Nur Otan People’s Democratic Party to the Government, akims and whole society are the issues of a new wave of industrialization”, K. Massimov said.
Along with this he noted that “preservation of private ownership is the basic principle of market economy”. “Nobody cancelled it. There is no alternative for private initiative, owners”, he stressed.
“Issues of indicative planning of the state should be given special attention”, the Prime Minister added.
During the Congress the Prime Minister entrusted Atameken Union National Economic Chamber with a task to gather information on investment projects not registered in the akimats for elaborating an Investment Map of Kazakhstan.
The process of industrialization will be coordinated by a special body – the State Commission on Modernization of Economy. The Commission will be headed by the Prime Minister.
As earlier reported forced industrialization was defined by the President during the XII Congress of Nur Otanas a primary and most important challenge. The main condition for successful industrialization is consolidation of the efforts of the society. Stability of the country and future of Kazakhstanis depend on it. The new industrial policy is the main vector of Kazakhstan’s economy. The State directly invests money in establishment of new ventures and enterprises through its institutes (SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund, first of all). This will allow to create new working places. In whole, 382 projects are being realized countrywide under the Government’s control. The total sum of financing makes KZT 9.5 trln. 59.2 thousand people will be provided with jobs.
