Kazakhstan, Russia signed several bilateral agreements
ASTANA. May 21. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Several bilateral agreements have been signed during the visit of Russian Premier Vladimir Putin to Astana today.
In particular, First Vice PMs of Kazakhstan and Russia Umirzak Shukeyev and Igor Shuvalov signed a memorandum between the two countriesТ Governments on Customs union formation.
The Governments also concluded an agreement on the rules of visiting Baikonur complex and signed a Protocol on amendments to the Agreement between Kazakhstan and Russia on the status of Baikonur city, the order of formation and the status of its executive bodies as of Dec21, 1995.
The parties also signed a Protocol on amendments to the Agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and Russia on legal regulation of the activity of the enterprises, ventures and organizations of railway transport as of Dec 18, 1996.
President of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Askar Mamin and Vice President of Russian Railways Velery Reshetnikov signed an Agreement on joint work on terminal handling of cargo and Memorandum of cooperation in interaction on formation of tariffs for cargo transportation.
