Almaty hosts KITEL-2009 exhibition
ALMATY. May 26. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ The XVI telecommunications exhibition KITEL 2009 has been opened today in Almaty. 60 companies from 10 countries, such as Hungary, China, the Netherlands, the UAE, Russia, the USA, Turkey, South Korea and Kazakhstan, have gathered for the event. The organizer is ITECA Kazakhstan Exhibition Company. “KITEL-2009 will allow to get familiarized with the up-to-date achievements and realize cooperation directed on development and distribution of new technologies. To my mind this exhibition will lay a foundation for establishment of a regional center of attraction and development of the information-communication technologies in Kazakhstan”, Vice Chairman of the Agency for Informatization and Communications Yerlan Durmagambetov says.
As Executive Director of ITECA Yury Borodikhin notes, the exhibition covers such sectors as Telecommunications and computer technologies; TV and radio broadcasting and wideband network; Software and automation; Banking technologies, equipment and services.
The event will last till May 29. The program of the exhibition includes seminars, presentations and conferences.
