Kazakhstan Today - For April 1, 2007 the sum subject to converting, on the accounts of the National fund of the Republic Kazakhstan in national currency made 17.6 billion KZT, the agency reports referring to the National Bank. As it was informed earlier, according to the rules of converting and re-converting of the National Bank fund assets, the fund will carry out converting of the sum into financial tools with the purpose of further investment of money in April 2007. Converting can be carried out by sale of foreign currency or financial tools in foreign currency at the official rate of the National Bank established at the date of carrying out of operations from gold and exchange actives of the National Bank, or the purchases of foreign currency for KZT in the internal currency market at the rate existing at the moment of carrying out of operations. Thus, the income to the accounts of the fund in KZT does not subject to converting within a month before accumulation of the sum is sufficient for the fund expenditure in the form of guaranteed transfers carried out in the end of the current month or the beginning of the next month according to the approved volume of guaranteed transfer.
