Over 250, 000 jobs created countrywide due to Road Map Program

ASTANA. August 17. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Gulshara Abdykalikova reported on the progress of the Road Map Program implementation today at the Governmental session. From the 256 thousand planned jobs 254 thousand have been created countrywide due to the Road Map Program, which is 99%. As a result 224 thousand people were employed. At present, the Road Map Program covers 5 080 construction projects from which 942 have been already completed (19 %) including 33 projects of housing and utilities infrastructure, 223 - road reconstruction, 441 - social facilities and 245 projects of social and cultural facilities. KZT 3.3 bln was allocated for implementation of 724 projects including 206 new ones and 535 - within the project development. As a whole, KZT 94.3 bln was used by the local authorities within the project. "I think we have made good progress", - K. Massimov said. He also required to ensure "thorough monitoring over those facilities implemented under the Road Map Program".
