KAZINFORM In 2009, about $ 1.13 billion was invested into the development of roads of general use in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Transport and Communications Ministry told Trend Capital. About 101.1 billion tenge (over $ 670) of the total amount of the fund will fell on the development of roads of national importance, the ministry said. For this purpose, about $250 million or 99 percent of the plan was used in the first half of 2009, the same source said.
