Competition Protection Agency to prevent unreasonable rise in coal prices
ASTANA. September 14. KAZINFORM Kazakh Agency for Competition Protection considers necessary to prevent unreasonable rise in prices for coal in heating period and creation of artificial deficit and buyout fever around coal products, the press service of the agency informs.
The statement was voiced at the Agency's conference on price policy due to the oncoming heating season. Representatives of the domestic coal producing companies and Ministry of Energy participated in the sitting.
The parties focused on the issues of provision of municipal enterprises, state-run organizations and population with coal.
Besides, the anti-monopoly agency drew the participants' attention to necessity of elimination of mediating structures and ensuring equal access to the resources.
