Issues of sub-excise goods discussed at session of Atameken Union
ASTANA. September 18. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Chairman of 'Atameken' Union Azat Peruashev has noted today the necessity to protect Kazakhstani producers of sub-excise goods during his meeting with the senators.
He noted that the legislation of Kazakhstan bans promotion of alcohol drinks and tobacco products, thereafter Kazakhstani sub-excise goods are prevented from the opportunity to be promoted.
"We will open borders and our producers will work on equal terms with the Russian ones. Here sub-excise goods in Kazakhstan will be at risk. By the way, in Europe wine is included into the food basket", A. Peruashev noted.
He addressed to the senators to paid their attention to the necessity to level working conditions for national and Russian producers of sub-excise goods. According to him the ban on advertising of such production should be lifted or other protective measures should be taken.
