KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ At today's plenary sitting the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament has approved a draft law "On ratification of the Istisna'a Agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and Islamic Development Bank on reconstruction of "Border of South Kazakhstan oblast-Taraz" road section within the framework of the project "Western Europe-Western China" and Agency Agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and Islamic Development Bank on reconstruction of "Border of South Kazakhstan oblast-Taraz" road section within the framework of the project "Western Europe-Western China". According to the agreement, the Bank will grant USD 398 million in loans to the Kazakh Government. The loan will comprise two tranches. Vice Minister of Transport and Communications A. Kussainov noted that the share of Kazakhstan's personnel in project implementation would make up to 90%.
