LUKOIL announces date for oil production on Caspian Sea
BAKU. September 23. KAZINFORM. LUKOIL oil company plans to extract first Russian oil from the Russian shelf of the Caspian Sea in March 2010, company's President Vagit Alekberov said at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin; Kazinform refers to Today.Az.
"I want to announce that we have fulfilled your order. What you saw at the pier on the stand now stands on the sea. I want to show you how everything is done," said the head of LUKOIL, introducing documents to the prime minister.
"Almost 300 people will live in residential block. Everything is already installed. We will start drilling the first well in November," he said; Kazinform cites Today.Az.
