Roundtable on legislative regulation of subsurface use sphere held in Astana
ASTANA. September 23. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ Change of the minimum calculation index's size led to reconsideration of a number of the Tax Code articles. But the rate of corporate income tax is not to be changed. Kazakh Vice Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Timur Suleimenov has announced it at a roundtable dedicated to legislative regulation of the subsurface use sphere.
The roundtable was held within the framework of the Kazakhstan Energy Week.
"Twenty-per-cent the rate of corporate income tax will not be changed", Suleimenov emphasized.
Majilis deputy Kenzhegali Sagadiyev emphasized topicality of the roundtable's topic and importance of the issues, which are on the agenda. "Modernization of the legislation in the subsurface use sphere is one of the key factors of development of the country's energy market", the deputy said.
The Kazakh Majilis deputies, representatives of ministries and departments, large oil and gas companies, scientific and expert circles take part in it.
Discussion of draft laws, which regulate the subsurface use sphere, transfer pricing, production and turnover of some kinds of the oil products, and the issues of legal regulation of strategic minefields and others are on the agenda.
