KAZIFNORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ "Kazakhstan is already contributing to the provision of energy security of Asia", Chairman of the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) Ural Mukhamedzhanov has said at the V General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties. "Doubtless, Asia uniting countries with almost two thirds of the world population and big territory, rich resources becomes a key player of the world economy, trade and politics. The joint territory of our states is the richest with energy territory in the world. In this regard the energy issue is one of the most important factors of provision of the security and stable development of Asian states. Kazakhstan possessing essential and diverse energy resources - oil, gas, uranium, coal - is already contributing to the provision of this security", U.Mukhamedzhanov said.
