Government to raise capitalization of DBK by KZT 167.7 bln

ASTANA. September 29. KAZINFORM On September 28, 2009 the Government of Kazakhstan decided to raise capitalization of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC by KZT 167.7 bln (USD 1 bln), the press service of the Bank reports. Increasing the Bank's capital shows state's consistent policy of the DBK support and sets the best pattern of its growing weight in realization of the Government's industrial policy. The Bank's own capital will make KZT 264.4 bln (USD 1.8 bln) which will allow ensuring fulfillment of requirements of the creditors and financial regulators. As is known, the Bank entered into several agreements on attraction of long-term loans from the Chinese and Russian banks as well as with export-credit agencies of a number of countries. The loans will be directed to financing of middle and large businesses in priority sectors of the Kazakhstan economy
