KAZINFORM /Dina Yermaganbetova/ - Volume of the direct Italian investments into Kazakhstan’s economy reached EUR 1 bln, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Italy to Kazakhstan Bruno Antonio Pasquino said at a briefing after the meeting with Kazakh Secretary of State Oralbai Abdykarimov. ’Annually Italy increases its investments into Kazakhstan. And one of the important directions of bilateral cooperation is diversification of Kazakhstani economy’, the diplomat stated. He also informed that a regular session of the Kazakh-Italian economic commission will take place in June in Kazakhstan. ‘It will be devoted to the identification of new branches of potential investments. Perspective spheres are agriculture, new technologies, geology and trade’, Mr. Pasquino added.
