Swedish auto-concern Scania opened service-center in Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. October 6. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duisenova/ The first service-center in Central Asia of one of the leading world producers of trucks and buses - Swedish auto-concern Scania opened in Ili municipality of Almaty region. According to the press-service of Mayor of Almaty region the facility is located on the territory of industrial-logistic center 'Damu' and has a convenient way out to principal regional and national highways including transport corridor "West Europe - West China", construction of which was announced as the priority-oriented one for our country. President of Scania Company Leif Ostling in his speech noted that the global financial crisis for capitalist countries is a usual phenomenon as it appears every 8-10 years. "We hope that it will be diminished and economies of countries will gather pace of growth", - he emphasized. "In this regard Kazakhstan is a very attractive market. Taking into consideration growing demands of the country the auto-concern has task to renew about 80 percent of automobile, road-vehicle and bus parks. We not only sell equipment but also endeavor to provide quality service. The service-center answering all modern requirements is a proof of it." The center is equipped with modern mechanical facilities and toolkit which let provide service to all types of truck transport, trailed equipment and buses. It should be noted that energy-saving technology, system of water conditioning, multiple use, waste management, collection and cleaning of exhausted motor oil are used in production. Similar service-centers are expected to be constructed near Aktobe and Shymkent cities.
